Roulette Live/NRG Rules

Roulette is one of the oldest and probably best known games and provides exciting action. It is played with a wheel that turns on a spindle, a number of grooved slots, a small ivory ball, and a betting layout.
The roulette wheel is divided into 37 grooved slots alternating between red and black, each slot having a number label. Following the European roulette rules, there is one zero (0) and the numbers 1 to 36 inclusive.
The croupier spins the wheel, then spins the ball which eventually drops into one of the slots. The payouts are determined based on where the ball comes to rest and where the player bets.
There are nine different ways you can place a bet on the Roulette table. Each type of bet covers a certain range of numbers, and has different payout rates.
The short lines of three numbers each are called dozens on the board, while the longer lines, each holding twelve, are called columns. The bets placed on the numbers are called the inside bets, while those placed outside the numbers are called outside bets.

Understanding the Roulette Game

The layout of the Roulette window consists of a few main features. The most obvious and most important is the layout of the table. The Roulette Table is the same one you would find in any casino. The table positions are the same and bets may be made in the same way. If you are not sure of what numbers are covered by a particular bet, just hover on the name of the bet or section you want to bet on and you will see the numbers highlighted.

Loading the Roulette Game

In order to play on the Live roulette, one first needs to log into his account by entering his username and password in the appropriate fields on the left, and then you have to click on the “Live Dealers” tab on the top of the page. This will take you to the lobby where you will be able to choose your game of choice. Choose your desired roulette table limits by clicking on one of the three different tables.
When on the table screen, on the right hand side you can see the live feed showing the game in progress directly from The Casino in Portomaso. On the left you will be able to see the last ten winning numbers.
Next on the table, you have eight different chip denominations, starting from €0.50 and going up to €1000. To their right you have the plus and minus buttons. More on these later. If you left click on the table showing the minimum and maximum stakes, you will get the table limits into more detail.
In the bottom right corner, you have three options; CLEAR BETS is used to take off all the bets placed before the NO MORE BETS message is displayed. REPEAT is used when you want to repeat the exact same bets placed on the last spin. NEIGHBOURS is used to access special bets on roulette. With the NEIGHBOURS option you will be able to play neighbour bets, orphans, tier, grande serie, and zero spiel.
On the top of the screen, you have the Game Id number – please quote this number when contacting customer care with a specific game query. Next to it you will be able to see the bet amount placed and also the win amount. Your available to bet balance will be showing at the top next to your name.
To turn the sound off, left click on the speaker icon at the top right. When off, a red circle will be showing. To turn it back on, left click again on the icon. The red circle will be removed. If you would like to view the table in full screen, click the blue icon next to the speaker. To restore the original settings, click again on the blue icon.

Placing Bets

To place bets, make sure that the plus button is highlighted, choose your desired chip denomination by left clicking on it and left click again on the number or desired betting play to make your bet. You can place more than one bet in a spin before the NO MORE BETS message is displayed. Under the live feed you will be able to see the timer. The dealers will spin the wheel after the green bars are finished.
You can change your selected chip denomination by left clicking on a different chip value. If you place more than one chip on the same bet, the chips may change and/or reorder themselves. The value will still be the same, however they will be changed to represent the least amount of chips on the table with the largest chip on the bottom and smallest on top.

Removing Bets

To remove all of the bets you have places, simply click on the CLEAR BETS option on the left. All bets will be removed, provided you clicked on the option before the NO MORE BETS message. Should you just want to remove a few bets from the table, highlight the minus sign by left clicking once on it, and left click on the chips you want to take off. Be aware that if your selected chip denomination is €1, and you clicked on the minus sign, the chips will be taken off €1 at a time.

To “Replay” Bets

To place the same exact bets you have played on your last spin, you can press on the REPEAT button.

TIPS

To tip the dealers, choose your desired chip denomination and left click on the TIP box and confirm the tip.

LIVE BLACKJACK STRATEGY

The scope of the Black Jack is for the player to get more points than the dealer without exceeding 21 points in total. The cards assume the following values: Ace: 1 or 11 points King (K), Queen (Q) and Jack (J) 10 points, all the other cards: their nominal value.
Blackjack is when a hand has 21 points with 2 cards only. E.g. A + 10 points
The game is played with 8 full decks of cards dealt from a shoe.

The cards are shuffled and the dealer will offer the cards to any player to cut the cards.
In the event that no player wishes to cut the cards or no player is playing at the time, the dealer will do so by inserting the cutting card somewhere towards the middle of the pile.
The dealer will ensure that the cutting card is inserted by the player into not less than 1 full deck from either end of the pile.
After cutting, the front portion of the deck is placed at the rear of the pile and the cards are put in the shoe ready for dealing.
The maximum and minimum wagers permitted per box are clearly displayed.

Dealer will draw cards until he reaches 17 or more. In other words will draw to 16 points or less and stay with 17 points or more. Ace can be used as one or eleven.
E.g. 6 + Ace = 17 and 6 + 8 + Ace = 15.

The dealer deals one card face up to each of the 3 boxes and one card face up to the dealer’s hand. A second card is then dealt face up on top of each first card dealt. The dealer will then deal the hands according to the tableux.
When the only remaining player’s hand is a black jack and the dealer is showing a 10 or an Ace, only one additional card will be drawn by the dealer. If all players’ hands exceed 21 points the dealer will not draw a second card.

DOUBLE DOWN

When the player’s hand is 9, 10 or 11, one has the option to double his bet. The game will offer the player the option to CONFIRM or DECLINE the double on the first two cards dealt. If the player takes no action in five (5) seconds the doubling bet will be automatically declined and assumed that the player does not wish to double. When doubling, an amount equal to the original bet is deducted from the player’s balance and played. Whether the player decided to double or not, the game follows the rules according to the tableaux and only one card is dealt when the count is 9, 10 or 11.

SPLITTING

When the tableaux dictates that a player should split the hand, one is given the option to put another bet of the same value of the original bet, which is deducted from the player’s balance, to make the hand. If the cards dealt require the player to double, the “doubling down” procedure will come into effect. In the case where the player does not wish to split the hand, or if no action has been taken during the time given to decide five (5) seconds, it will be assumed that the player does not wish to split, the original bet will be placed on the first hand and the cards will be dealt according to the rules.
When Aces are split only one card is dealt to each hand, and the card dealt is a picture or a 10 value card, the player will be considered to have 21 and not blackjack.

When the cutting card comes out, the dealer will finish the hand and then shuffle the cards. If the cutting card comes out as the first card of a hand, the dealer will shuffle the cards.

Blackjack Ace and a 10 or Picture

If a player has a black jack the odds are paid 3 to 2.

Any players playing on the live table will have to abide by the tableux and will have to follow the online rules.

Irregularities In the event of a card being drawn not as per tableux, the card will be dealt to the next hand and if it is drawn in error to the dealer’s hand it will dealt as the first card of the next hand.
In the event that a dealer omits to deal a card to a box, the manager must be called and the hand reconstructed to the way it would have been if dealt correctly.
In the event that there are insufficient cards remaining in the shoe to complete the round after the cutting card has appeared, the dealer will shuffle all the discards using the normal procedure and continue the hand after the shuffle.

In the event that for any reason there are insufficient cards remaining in the shoe to complete the round, the dealer will shuffle all the discards using the normal procedure and continue the hand after the shuffle.

The casino’s decision is final.

Punto Banco Rules

Punto Banco is considered a glamorous game, with high limits. The object of the game is for you to chose which side, the Player or the Banker, will finish closest to nine when all cards have been drawn.

Picture cards and tens count as 0; Aces count as 1, and all other cards count as face value. If required, a third card is dealt to each hand according to specific rules outlined in the chart below. If the point value of the first two cards drawn for either hand is 8 or 9, that is known as a “Natural” and no additional cards will be drawn. Hands don’t ever exceed 9 (bust), because the first digit of a two-digit number is always dropped. For example, if 5 and 7 are drawn for a total of 12, the count is 2. The hand with the highest point total closest to nine wins.

Winning “Player” bets are paid even money. “Banker” winning bets are paid at the odds of 19/20. If both hands result in identical totals, the “Tie” bet wins, paying 8 to 1 (chips are placed on the “Tie” section of the table). When a “Tie” occurs, all bets on the “Player” and the “Banker” are neither paid nor taken.

When the player stands on 6 or 7, the Banker must draw on totals of 0,1,2,3,4, and 5, and stand on 6,7,8 and 9. The Banker must draw on totals of 0,1 or 2, then observe the rules for Banker. There are no optional draws.
